Recipient Lookup

When entering a Recipient to the distribution list of a Report or Dashboard, whether individually or via the new ‘add multiple recipients’ feature, an ‘Auto Search’ feature will appear that shows a list of potential matches that are already in the system. This will save Users from having to type full email addresses every time they are added to a new distribution list. By clicking on the required address, it will auto-populate in the text box.

IntelliMail Version 1.8

Release Notification – 5 October 2012

A new version of IntelliMail (version 1.8) will be released on the AppExchange on Monday 8th October. This notification has been issued to existing IntelliMail users. It contains an overview of the new features available with this release along with instructions on how to upgrade to the new version.

What’s new?

Increased Recipient Capacity

In previous versions of IntelliMail you were restricted to sending a Dashboard or Report to 10 recipients. In this version the Recipient capacity has been increased to 100.

Disable Hyperlinks

The links contained within the Dashboard or Report can now be disabled on the IntelliMail email. This prevents recipients without access to Salesforce.com from clicking through the link and arriving at the login page.

This is a configurable option. If you want to remove the hyperlinks, you will need to select the ‘Remove Hyperlinks’ checkbox and then click the Update button, as illustrated below.

What’s new?

Whitelabelling functionality

IntelliMail comes with some pre-set ‘out of the box’ branding elements built into the email template that is used to send reports and dashboards to non-user recipients. The illustration below shows these pre-set elements.

Each of these elements can now be ‘whitelabelled’ with your own branding. The elements that can be edited are:

  • The ‘From’ name
  • The ‘You have new IntelliMail’ section of the Subject string
  • The ‘IntelliMail:’ section of the header string
  • The background colour of the Header
  • The logo in the Header
  • The background colour of the Footer
  • The left hand string in the Footer
  • The right hand string in the Footer
  • The target URL of the right hand string in the Footer

You can also choose to switch all of the branding elements off (excluding the Subject string). To switch of the branding elements, simply uncheck the following checkboxes and then click the ‘Update’ button:

  • Show Header
  • Show Footer
  • Show Logo
  • Show Footer URL

To change the logo, you need to go to the ‘Documents’ tab, select the ‘IntelliMail Assets’ folder and then replace the file associated with the ‘aprikalogo’ document.

To customise the remaining branding elements to your own requirements you need to complete the ‘Customisation’ settings in the ‘Domain Manager’, see the illustration below.
